In 1999, life presented a pivotal decision point. Societal norms in Pakistan offered a limited path for a young, unmarried woman seeking independence: marriage or emigration, as venturing out alone was strongly discouraged. Embracing the uncertainties of a new beginning, I chose the latter and embarked on a journey to the United States. This move marked a significant transition, from my birthplace to the fast-paced realm of software engineering. The subsequent two decades passed swiftly, a period of professional growth that saw me evolve from a dedicated Quality Assurance engineer to a leader in engineering management.
